Our 2-frame mini nucs are designed for beekeepers looking to establish new colonies, introduce proven queens, or support queen-rearing operations.

Each mini nuc contains a laying queen, brood in multiple stages, food stores, and a healthy population of worker bees. Colonies are evaluated for queen performance, brood pattern, and overall strength before sale.

Our Selection Process

Queens are selected from colonies demonstrating strong brood patterns, manageable temperament, and consistent performance in North Carolina conditions. Every mini nuc is built from active production colonies and evaluated prior to pickup.

Availability & Pickup

Mini nucs are produced in limited quantities throughout the season and may not always be available.
